laney's brainies

Our client, Family Channel, needed help promoting their new show What's Up Warthogs, a tween comedy about a group of unlikely teenagers put together to make the morning announcements at West Hills High less boring. As a part of this collaboration, we read the scripts, gave feedback and developed the brand of the show.

One of the criteria was to create games to be featured on Family Channel's website to help introduce the characters. Laney's Brainies is to be a series of short, addictive games based on Laney, a 12 year-old science-y prodigy in the 9th grade. Grant Eull, Tess Haun and I came up with the concepts and were proud to release the first in 2011. Chemistry Chaos is a memory game based on the first episode of What's Up Warthogs (which we nicknamed: Wuw).

Laney's experiment is running out of control! Help her neutralize her solutions before a volative explosion occurs.

The test tubes need drops of the neutralizing liquid in a specific order.

Click the wrong tube or run out of time and the tubes will explode.

Game over! But try again to beat your last score.

Try Laney's Brainies for yourself and have a blast.
